Rupert Grint Was In Tears On Deathly Hallows Set

RUPERT GRINT, the 22-year-old British actor best known for playing 'Ron Weasley' in the 'Harry Potter' movies, says he and co-stars DANIEL RADCLIFFE and EMMA WATSON were in tears on their final day of shooting the hit films, reports STV.
Grint, who has risen to prominence in his role as Harry's close friend Ron, was speaking to promote the penultimate film in the franchise 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1', which opens worldwide today (19th November 2010). Explaining how he felt when he released shooting was coming to an end, Grint said, "I never thought about it really, until the last few weeks, when it dawned on me. Obviously I knew it was going to end at some point, but it was a weird kind of week, clearing out the room, I've lived in that room for about 10 years pretty much". He went on to reveal that he and Radcliffe 'sobbed' on the final day of filming, adding, "The last day, the realisation was overwhelming. It was really emotional".
Grint, who is set to play the British skier 'Eddie the Eagle' in a new movie to be released next year, also spoke about the very final 'Harry Potter' scene, saying, "There was something really empty about it and final, plus the last scene was the most random scene we could have ended on".
