Rupert Grint - Rupert Grint Excited To 'Move On' From Harry Potter
Rupert Grint, the British actor best known for playing Ron Weasley in the hugely successful Harry Potter franchise, says he is "excited" to move on from the hit movie series now the final film, 'The Deathly Hallows: Part 2', has been released, reports the Press Association.
The actor, who turns 23-years-old this week, says he's been in a "bubble" during his time working on the franchise. Rupert said, "It's going to take a while to really sink in - it was quite a shock really. It all seemed to end quite suddenly but now the film's out it is kind of closure and I'm excited to move on", adding, "It has kind of been this bubble - it's like graduating I guess. We've all learned so much". The actor recently completed a movie worlds apart from the wizard franchise - the World War 2 flick 'Comrade', about English and German pilots who shoot each other down but later find themselves at the same cabin. During an interview with Absolute Radio, Grint confirmed he finished filming several months ago, adding, "It was something very different and just quite refreshing just to play a different character".
Despite his post-Potter projects, Rupert is keen to keep in touch with his former co-stars, especially twins Jamie Phelps and his brother Oliver, saying, "I spend a lot of time with the twins. All of us really, we've all shared this quite unique experience together and we'll always stay in touch".
