Rufus Wainwright - Rufus Wainwright Prepares For Wedding

Wainwright, the son of singers Loudon Wainwright Iii and the late Kate MCGarrigle, will exchange vows at his home in Montauk, New York in front of 250 friends and family, including Yoko Ono and actress Carrie Fisher, according to the New York Post.

Following the nuptials the party will head to a local restaurant where they will dine a lavish spread including lobster rolls and Champagne.

They will later transfer to the nearby Shagwong Restaurant where they are expected to party until 4am, and Wainwright himself will take to the stage to perform.

The couple got engaged in November 2010 and shares daughter Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen, whom Wainwright fathered with Lorca Cohen, daughter of singer Leonard Cohen.
