Rubio Mourning Father's Death
Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio is in mourning following the death of her father on Tuesday morning (11Jan11).
The singer's dad, lawyer Enrique, was admitted to a hospital in Mexico City on 3 January (11) after suffering a heart attack and stroke.
He was placed in a medically-induced coma and was said to be in a "very serious" and "critical" condition. He died on Tuesday (11Jan11), reports PerezHilton.com.
Enrique Rubio had just returned from a trip to Miami, Florida, where he had been visiting the star and her brother, also named Enrique, when he was taken ill.
He is survived by Paulina and Enrique, Jr., his children from his marriage to actress Susana Dosamantes.
The couple was in the midst of a divorce when he died.
