Visiting royals the Duke & Duchess Of Cambridge thrilled fans waiting outside the couple's Hancock Park, Los Angeles residence on Sunday morning (10Jul11) with an impromptu 10-minute meet and greet.
The newlyweds left the home of the British Consul General ahead of schedule so they could thanks the fans who had given them such a warm welcome on the pair's first official visit to America.
Prince William and his wife flew into Los Angeles on Friday (08Jul11) and spent the weekend at official functions, including a charity polo match in Santa Barbara and a star-studded Bafta party, during which the prince saluted the "creative talent" from Britain and America and added that "magic happens" when the two countries get together to make films.
