Rosie Snubbed As Price Is Right Producers Look For A New Barker
Actress-turned-US TV chat show star ROSIE O'DONNELL has fallen out with the producers of beloved game show The Price Is Right after they snubbed her efforts to take over as host of the programme.
O'Donnell had dreams of taking over from longtime Price Is Right host BOB BARKER - when he retires next year (07) - and even had a clause in her contract with magazine show The View, allowing her to leave if the job came up.
She says, "Nobody's offered me The Price Is Right. It is a clause in my contract, but they apparently don't want me, which is sort of sad because I have visions for The Price Is Right."
