Rosemond Pleads Not Guilty To Drug Charges
The hip-hop manager, who once boasted The Game on his roster, was tracked down by federal agents and detained in New York on Tuesday (21Jun11), several weeks after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He appeared at Brooklyn Federal Court that day (21Jun11) and entered a not guilty plea to charges including witness tampering, obstruction of justice and intentionally conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, according to MTV.com.
Rosemond's attorney, Jeffery Lichtman, has confirmed his client is determined to fight the allegations, saying, "We've been waiting a long time for our day in court - we finally have it."
Rosemond has been refused bail and is reportedly in custody at the Metropolitan Department Correctional (Mdc) Facility in Brooklyn, New York - the same facility housing an inmate who has accused the manager of orchestrating a robbery of hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur in 1994.
Rosemond's lawyer vehemently denied the allegations made by convicted murderer Dexter Isaac.
