GUNS N' ROSES star Axl Rose has blasted his former management team for releasing a statement about his airport fight with photographers on Wednesday (09Dec09) - insisting he never approved the comment.
The rocker was at Los Angeles' LAX Airport to catch a flight to Taipei, Taiwan, for a concert on Friday (11Dec09), when he was allegedly involved in a bust-up with cameramen.
Rose reportedly released a statement through his representatives at Levine Communications, blaming "aggressive" snappers for the incident.
The statement continued: "Axl Rose was unhurt last evening when he was accosted by an unruly group of paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Mr. Rose, who was about to enter a security checkpoint at LAX when the altercation took place, was approached by a group of unchecked and unruly photographers who became aggressive with the singer and female members of the travelling group. Mr. Rose was not injured during the unprovoked attack and was able to board his flight without further incident."
However, the star has logged on to his official MySpace.com blog with an update, revealing he's no longer working with Levine.
He writes, "I did not release any statement or authorise either any statement or anyone to release a statement regarding anything at any airport anywhere. We had recently begun working with newer individuals in management in relation to our current Asian tour in support of our Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy in addition to (manager) Irving Azoff's, though as it happens we are once again touring Asia without management of any kind."
Darth Vader is back and James Earl Jones will once again provide the villain’s voice.
It was a very different experience for the young actress.
He hadn't heard Newt Knight's story before signing on to the project.
