Room Service? Inside The Latest John Travolta Lawsuit
According to the Daily Beast, Mr Zanzi was assigned to be Travolta's personal attendant during the cruise approximately three years ago, and was given a pager so that he would be accessible to the Hollywood star around the clock. He claims that he delivered room service to the actor's room, where he found Travolta with two other men. As Zanzi departed, Travolta reportedly made an additional food order. Twenty minutes later, he returned with the food to find the actor alone wearing a bathrobe. Mr Zanzi alleges that the 'Saturday Night Fever' actor said he had a pain and pleaded with him to touch his neck. Moments later, he had disrobed and exposed himself to the cruise-worker. The lawsuit states that Travolta then, "forced his naked person and his erect penis against [Zanzi's] person" causing Mr Zanzi to "experience pain, shock, embarrassment, distress and fear". He claims the actor then offered him $12,000 to keep his secret quiet.
The actor's attorney Marty Singer has responded aggressively to the lawsuit, claiming Mr Zanzi never made reference to any sexual assault in a report to his employers. The cruise company said in a statement, "In June 2009, Mr. Zanzi was working as a Room Service Phone Operator onboard Enchantment of the Seas. Mr. Zanzi was not fired by Royal Caribbean, but rather resigned on May 18, 2011".
