Ronson Credits Britain For Musical Prowess
The 32-year-old, who picked up the Best Producer prize at Sunday's (10Feb08) Grammy Awards, was born in the U.K. but spent a lot of time in New York while he was growing up.
And Ronson insists that despite his trans-Atlantic accent, he is desperate to be accepted as British.
He says, "Coming back to England really helped me to rediscover my roots - and my music. It means a lot to me to be accepted in the U.K.
"Despite living in New York, I've always been British."
