Ronnie Wood - Ronnie Wood's Son Attacked

Ronnie Wood's son, Tyrone, has been badly beaten with a baseball bat on holiday.

The Rolling Stones guitarist's youngest son was attacked while on holiday in Greece, leaving him with a broken arm and concussion.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Tyrone has taken a terrible beating. He was attacked with a baseball bat. He's OK but really shaken up by the whole incident."

Ronnie, who recently turned 64, was so concerned he even offered to arrange for a private jet to bring Tyrone, who is in his late 20s, home.

No further details about the attacker or the reasons for the assault on gallery owner Tyrone - whose mother is Ronnie's second wife, Jo Wood - are yet known.

The guitarist also has two other grown up children, Leah - also with Jo - and Jesse, from his first marriage to Krissy.

Meanwhile, Ronnie caused panic among producers at a radio award show this week when he went missing.

Ronnie picked up two prizes for his show on the UK's Absolute Classic Rock, but after picking up an Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards for Specialist Programme of the Year, he suddenly disappeared before he could take the Best Newcomer gong.

Host Christian O'Connell said: "All I could see were worried producers - nobody had any idea where he was. They should have chained him to the table."

Ronnie then reappeared ten minutes later after having a cigarette, wondering why everyone was looking so bemused.

The running order of the event was then amended so he could pick up his second prize.
