Keith Richards - Rolling Stones Rehearsing 70 Tracks For Comeback Shows
Keith Richards has promised fans The Rolling Stones will "deliver" when they stage their comeback concerts - the band is rehearsing 70 tracks for the shows.
The rockers are set to return to the stage next month (Nov12) for the first time in five years to mark the band's 50th anniversary, and they've announced two gigs at London's O2 Arena, and two December (12) performances at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
The Brown Sugar hitmakers are already hard at work on the concerts, and Mick Jagger has promised that the audience can expect an impressive setlist.
Speaking at the London premiere of Crossfire Hurricane, a new documentary about the band, on Thursday night (18Oct12), he tells Reuters, "Rehearsals are going very well, (we've) done about 70 different songs. I said, 'Look, we only need to do 30, we don't need to do 70, but now we are doing 70. I don't know if we will do them all."
Richards adds, "You know, we are looking forward to a great time. See, it's a two-way thing. It's to do with all these people and it's to do with us, we will deliver alright."
