Roger Ebert - Roger Ebert's Facebook Page Removed Over Dunn Comment

Outspoken film critic Roger Ebert has blasted Facebook bosses for taking down his online page over his comments about tragic Jackass star Ryan Dunn.
Ebert sparked criticism earlier this week (beg20Jun11) when he posted a comment on Twitter.com just hours after TV stuntman Dunn died in a horrific car crash in Pennsylvania.
Dunn had spent the evening socialising and was killed along with a friend when his Porsche spun out of control and ploughed into trees in the early hours of Monday morning (20Jun11).
Gossips speculated the star had been drunk at the wheel, prompting Ebert to 'Tweet', "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive."
His remark sparked a string of criticism on Twitter and Facebook - and Ebert was amazed to later discover bosses of the social networking giant had removed his page.
He took to his Twitter blog to tell fans, "Facebook has removed my page in response, apparently, to malicious complaints from one or two jerks. Facebook! My page is harmless and an asset to you. Why did you remove it in response to anonymous jerks? (It) makes you look bad."
Facebook staff restored Ebert's page following his online rant.
