Rod Stewart - Rod Stewart Will Sing The Faces And Small The Faces Songs At Hall Of Fame Gala

Rod Stewart has agreed to front his old group The Faces for a tribute to the Small Faces at both bands' induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame later this month (Apr12).
The two groups' drummer Kenney Jones has revealed Stewart will belt out his own hits and one sung by the late Steve Marriott at the Ohio gala on 14 April.
It'll be a big night for Jones, Stewart, Ronnie Wood and Ian MCLagan as it will mark the first time the four-piece have performed publicly together since 1993.
The drummer, MCLagan and Wood reunited in 2010 for dates with singer Mick Hucknall when Stewart backed out of a get together - but the Maggie May star has agreed to front the band again for the Hall of Fame honour.
Jones tells Mojo magazine, "We're planning to play three or four songs, and because both bands are being inducted at the same time, they'll be Faces and Small Faces numbers... Rod's agreed to sing a Small Faces song... It's more likely to be Tin Soldier or All or Nothing."
And the British rocker admits the band is very excited about the Hall of Fame nod: "In America, it's like having a knighthood. I don't know why we weren't in there before... We're glad that our fans gave them a gentle reminder... Better late than never and we're really excited and honoured."
