U.S. death metal rockers Massacre have scrapped a tour of Brazil following a fall-out with a concert promoter.
The band was set to kick off a series of dates in the South American country on 15 November (12), but they have cancelled the trek over claims their contract and pre-show payments have not been honoured.
A post on the group's official Facebook.com page reads, "The Brazilian promoter... signed a contract and made promises that were not honoured. None of it - money, visas, flights = nothing... Our friends say that Massacre still remains on the bill, so everyone should know this is false. However, we'll be coming to Brazil in the New Year and will post details the moment they're arranged."
The band will still take to the stage for four gigs in Colombia, starting on Friday (09Nov12).
