Robert Redford - Robert Redford To Join Watergate Journalists At Screening

The Oscar-winning actor has produced a two-hour film looking back at the fallout from the explosive political outrage in the 1970s, which sparked the downfall of U.S. President Richard Nixon.

Redford played Woodward in the 1976 movie All the President's Men - alongside Dustin Hoffman as Bernstein - and he will join up with the two veteran journalists when the documentary is premiered in Washington, D.C. next month (Apr13) for a question-and-answer session following the screening.

The new film, titled All the President's Men Revisited, will air on the Discovery Channel in the U.S. on 21 April, three days after the Washington, D.C. premiere.

Redford says, "Juxtaposing the reality of those who perpetuated the crime and those who pursued them, alongside those who portrayed them in the film, unfolds this historical turn of events in an entirely new way."
