Robert Pattinson To Star As Saddam Hussein Interrogator
The film is adapted from the book 'Mission: Black List 1: The Inside Story of the Search for Saddam Hussein - As Told by the Soldier Who Masterminded His Capture' written by the real Eric Maddox and Davin Seay. The title says it all; the film is a psychological thriller aiming to illustrate the true story of the notorious Iraqi politician and his capture. It is being produced by Ross M. Dinerstein ('The Divide'), Erik Jendresen ('Sublime') and Kevin Waller. Jean-Stephane Sauvaire is the reported director.
Pattinson, who rose to fame when he was cast as Cedric Diggory in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' in 2005, has shaved his head to play the military role which meant he had to don a wig in order to complete the filming of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2'. He also stars as Eric Packer in David Cronenberg's upcoming Canadian drama film 'Cosmopolis'.
