He even admitted to buying a car on the website, though tried to haggle the $2,500 price tag. It was the latest television appearance for the actor since he remerged into the public spotlight after a couple of weeks in hiding. He and girlfriend Kristen Stewart split after she admitted to cheating on him with the British director Rupert Sanders, and Pattinson admitted to Jimmy Kimmel that he was now effectively "homeless".

The actor is currently starring in David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis, though his biggest movie of the year will be the final instalment of the Twilight Saga. It was reported this week that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will walk the red carpet together at the U.S. premiere of the film. That could be awkward.
