Robbie Could Be Leaving Emi

by | 17 December 2007

Robbie Williams' manager has suggested that the singer may quit his record label EMI when he has completed his final studio album.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Tim Clark, Robbie's manager, said he would be concerned about signing the singer to any major label at the moment.

He added that once the current contract finished "all options" are open.

The RUDEBOX singer has a four-album deal with the company worth £80 million.

Robbie's fourth album with EMI, LET'S SWING AGAIN, is to be released in February next year.

Both PAUL McCARTNEY and RADIOHEAD have parted ways with EMI in the past two years.

Last week PAUL McCARTNEY told the Times that his former label had become "really very boring".

"Everybody at EMI had become a part of the furniture. I'd be a couch; COLDPLAY are an armchair. And ROBBIE WILLIAMS, I dread to think what he was," he continued.

Meanwhile, Robbie's ex-band TAKE THAT will not be welcoming Robbie back into the group.

Despite recent reports that the ANGELS singer's mum said he was thinking of reuniting with the group, GARY BARLOW has said there is "no place" for him.

"I think, when it comes down to it, he's just not going to be in the band again," he continued in an interview with the Big Issue.

Previously the remaining four members of TAKE THAT, Gary, MARK OWEN, JASON ORANGE and HOWARD MCDONALD have said that the door would always be open for Robbie to return.
