Rob Lowe Movie Made Double Accused Murderer Laugh
Rob Lowe may have not intended to make wife murderer DREW PETERSON laugh when he depicted his life in a new TV movie. However according to The Tribune, as Peterson watched an advanced copy of the Rob Lowe film, he found it 'hysterical'.
'Drew Peterson: Untouchable' tells the real life story of the former Chicago police sergeant who is accused of killing third wife, Kathleen Savio, and causing his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, to disappear. Peterson watched the film from the Will County, Illinois jail where he sits while awaiting trial. Joel Brodsky, Peterson's lead defence attorney, told The Tribune: 'He thought it was hysterical. He chuckled at all of the inaccuracies and things that never happened.' In 2004, Peterson's wife had been found dead in a bathtub which was put down to accidental drowning, but when it was reported that between 2002 and 2004 18 police calls had been made to the Peterson house for domestic disturbance, Peterson was arrested. When Peterson's fourth wife Stacy, 23, disappeared in May 2010, they exhumed Stacey's body for a follow-up examination which revealed that her death was a homicide resulting from a struggle in the bathtub. Even though Stacey's body is yet to be found, neighbours have reported seeing Drew and another man hauling a 55-gallon barrel, large enough to hold a person, from his home shortly after Stacy's disappearance.
The Lifetime movie features Rob Lowe as Peterson and 'Big Bang Theory' star Kaley Cuoco as Stacey. The trial case will continue.
