Acid-tongued comedienne Joan Rivers has warned women to forget about paying for college courses and use the cash for plastic surgery instead if they want to get ahead.
The cheeky funnywoman, a proud advocate of cosmetic enhancement, insists this is a man's world - and men are only interested in "pretty things".
She says, "Life is shallow - never mind an education, take that money and get yourself a nose job.
"Men are stupid and like pretty things and women should understand that."
