Rita Wilson Still Amazed By Jimmy Webb Duet
The Sleepless in Seattle star had a wish list of musical friends and heroes she wanted to join her in the studio - and was amazed when most agreed.
As a result, the new album features collaborations with Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill and Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell - but Webb was a big coup for Wilson after landing him for her version of his Wichita Lineman.
She explains, "I think of that song as an Edward Hopper painting - there's something stark and perfect about it.
"The thought that he would work with me was staggering. It sounded like he was an orchestra, not just his own two hands on the piano."
