Could Justin Bieber Be Behind Selena Gomez & Demi Lovato's 'Feud'? 4273718 News

Are Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez feuding? They used to be the best of friends but now Lovato has unfollowed Gomez on Twitter and reportedly posted a message seemingly directed at Gomez on the social media site. The pair has been friends for more than 14 years, ever since they starred together on Barney and Friends. So what has happened in the past six months to ruin a seemingly perfect friendship?

Shortly after unfollowing Gomez on Twitter on Thursday (3rd July), Lovato posted a picture of herself swimming in the sea with the caption "Swimming away from the bulls**t bye bitch." Fans and numerous media outlets have assumed the tweet is directed at Gomez as Lovato has seemingly indicated (via unfollowing) that she is no longer interested in being friends with Gomez, as E! reports.

This is certainly a change from January of this year when the pair gushed about each other in separate interviews. Although, as the Mail reports, they have both admitted their relationship was strained in the past it appeared to be all behind them at the beginning of this year. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest in January, Lovato said she and Gomez had "an incredible relationship". Whilst Gomez said, in an interview with Seventeen, Lovato was "the only person that I would tell the deepest, darkest secrets to. The only person."

Demi Lovato apparently unfollowed Gomez on Twitter.

So what exactly has changed since January? Gomez has certainly been having a rocky time. The actress checked into a rehab facility at the beginning of January but left after a relatively short stay. Her reason for entering the Arizona facility was not substance related which led media outlets to speculate her relationship with Justin Bieber may have been behind her need for a break. Yet, in the past month, it appears Gomez and Bieber are back together. Could this be the reason behind Gomez and Lovato's alleged feud? Perhaps Lovato is disenchanted by the prospect of picking up the pieces if Gomez and Bieber once again split.

However, there may be a more innocent reason behind the unfollowing. Singer LeAnn Rimes, who has had her share of Twitter arguments, claimed Lovato unfollowing Gomez may have simply been an accident. She spoke to E! and explained how easily it can be done. The 31-year-old claimed that, although "that unfollow button can actually say a whole lot," Twitter accounts accidently unfollow people. Rimes said "They [Twitter] can unfollow people randomly. Like, I've had people get mad at me like, 'You're unfollowing me?' No, I didn't unfollow you! I didn't do anything. It was Twitter's fault. So, it could be. It could be."

That could well be a possibility but it does seem somewhat unlikely as, out of the 283 people Lovato follows, Gomez would be the one 'Twitter' chose to unfollow.

Selena Gomez Fires Her Parents: Heres Five Stars Who Did The Same 4151344 News

Selena Gomez has reportedly decided she no longer needs any more parental advisory in her career and fired her manager parents. Selena’s parents had been managing her career since the beginning, but it now seems the former Disney star has outgrown mum and dad's guidance. Firing your parents might seem like the ultimate act of rebellion, but for some stars it was just a career move that had to happen. Here’s five famous faces who, like Selena, eventually had to decide it was time to give mum and dad the pink slip.

Usher

When Usher wanted to fire his mother he really picked the perfect time to do it, mother’s day 2007. Usher is said to have fallen out with his mother over her objection to his future wife, Tameka Foster. A year later the mother son duo reunited only for Usher to fire her again a year later, proving that sometimes mixing business and family is just not meant to be.

Beyonce

Beyonce’s dad Matthew Knowles had been managing his daughter’s career since day one. Daddy Knowles took charge of his daughter’s group Destiny’s Child after they failed to win TV talent show Star Search back when they first formed. Now Beyonce is undoubtedly the world’s biggest female solo artist and it seems she’s no longer in need of her father’s managerial services. Beyonce reportedly gave her dad his marching orders after it was alleged he had cheated on her mother and fathered a child with another woman. Beyoncé did insist, however, that everything was purely business and there was no rift in the Knowles family. The singer said, "he is my father and I love my dad dearly," adding that they were only parting ways on a "business level.”

Macaulay Culkin

By the time Macaulay Culkin was in his teens he was already a major movie star with millions in the bank, but things weren't so good at home between the young actor and his father Kit. When Macaulay’s parents divorced the actor and his siblings became the centre of a bitter custody dispute which taught Macaulay how to read and understand legal papers. He soon found out that his father controlled his millions and took him to court to remove his access to Macaulay’s impressive bank account. The move permanently damaged the relationship between father and son and they remain estranged to this day.

However Michael would later claim that Joe was overly strict on him and his siblings and that he used physical and verbal abuse whilst training his sons. In 1979 Michael fired his father as his manager before his 'Off the Wall' album. Despite the often strained relationship between the father and son, Michael and Joe maintained a close relationship up until the singer’s death in 2009.

LeAnn Rimes Fails To Finish Concert Due To Jaw Popping Out Of Place 4124205 News

LeAnn Rimes' latest concert could be called jaw-dropping, but not for the reason you may think.

The 31 year-old singer left fans disappointed at her Oklahoma show on March 22nd after not partaking in an encore.

Unbeknown to the packed-out audience, she had suffered a freak accident.

Rimes later took to Twitter to explain why she was unable to return to the stage.

"Oklahoma!!!! I love you so much! I'm sorry for no encore," she tweeted. "I had my jaw pop out of place & I can't hear out of my left ear. #tmjsucks."

"I had the best time tonight with my Oklahoma fans!" she later posted. "I love y'all!"

Rimes referring to 'TMJ' is a condition also known as temporomandibular joint disorder, which affects her jaw joint and the surrounding facial muscles.

However, her fans will know about her suffering from this condition as she underwent several dental procedures in the summer of 2012, to get rid of an intense pain.

Due to these health issues, the country singer was forced to cancel tour dates in October 2012, and she wrote on her website at the time, "I've been living in a dental nightmare for 10 months. I'm getting back on track though, I hope. I've had too many detours this year due to dental issues."

Unfortunately the procedures did not work and in February 2013 she sued the dental practise for allegedly damaging her career and therefore setting her back even further.

The lawsuit stated that she wanted compensation for "loss of earnings and future earning capacity" due to her "ability to perform as an artist has been and will continue to be significantly compromised until all re-treatment is complete."

The ceremony kicked off with host Jimmy Kimmel paying tribute to King’s five-decade career and the 1971 album that started it all. “That cat from the Tapestry album must be dead, right?” Kimmel quipped in his opening speech. Steven Tyler and LeAnn Rimes kicked things off with an unlikely duet of Hi-De-Ho, which turned out to be a surprisingly good fit for both of them. Duets by Mexican brother/sister duo Jesse & Joy (performing Where You Lead) Miguel and Kacey Musgraves (Crying in the Rain)  and Jakob Dylan and Louise Goffin (King's daughter) with Goin' Back followed. The only song that fell somewhat flat was will.i.am and Leah McFall, whose version of Love Makes the World sounded a bit too showy to be genuine.

LeAnn Rimes teamed up with Steven Tyler for the first performance of the night.

There were also performances by the likes of Jason Mraz, Zac Brown, Sara Bareilles and the Raining Jane band, performing a version of Beautiful full of evocative harmonies and Amy Grant, Jennifer Nettles, Martina McBride and Miranda Lambert with a country-fied medley of Been to Canaan, I'm into Something Good, It Might As Well Rain Until September and One Fine Day. There were also a number of stunning solo performances by the likes of Pink, Alicia Keys, Gloria Estefan and even Alicia Keys, who in classic style, belted out a soaring rendition of (You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman. She dubbed King "the most magnificent songwriter and composer on earth." Even Lady Gaga took the stage at one point and accompanied herself on piano for a dramatic You've Got a Friend.

The guest of honor took the stageafter 11 p.m. to sing Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, and give her thank-you speech. , "As a songwriter, my dream was always and still is to hear great singers perform my songs. It does not get any better than this, folks," she said. The event was held in the name of charity, with proceeds going to musicians in need of financial, medical and personal aid. The night raised more than $5.5 million and that was before the live auction that brought in another $120,000 for King's handwritten Tapestry lyrics and $70,000 for a customized Acura.

Cory Monteith Found Dead In Vancouver Hotel: The Facts And Glee's Reactions 3762385 News

Cory Monteith was found dead at noon on Saturday 13th July 2013. He'd been staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver. The actor was due to leave the hotel after a week's stay but failed check out at noon. His body was discovered by hotel staff and early reports suggest the 31-year-old had been dead for several hours. Reports have not indicated why the Calgary born actor was staying alone in Vancouver.

Monteith's representative, Melissa Kates, released a statement confirming the 31-year-old's death. Speaking to USA Today, Kates said: "We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate. We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss".

The actor had a long-term substance abuse problem. He was, allegedly, in rehab aged 19 and checked in again in March of this year. After completing the programme he made a number of public appearances including attending June's Butterfly Ball with girlfriend and Glee co-star Lea Michelle. The couple had been dating for over a year.

It is unknown if Monteith's death was due to an overdose, although it has been suggested in many reports that it is a possibility. An autopsy, scheduled for tomorrow, will provide further details on the actor's untimely death, as announced by Vancouver Acting Police Chief Doug LePard.

20th Century Fox, the company which produces Glee, had been supportive of Monteith's efforts to overcome his addiction.  In March, a representative for Fox, speaking about Monteith's check in to rehab, said "Cory is a beloved member of the Glee family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment."

They continued to say "everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return." Sadly Glee's cast and crew are unlikely to be the same following this tragic news.

Following the announcement of Monteith's death Fox issued a statement which reads: "We are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Cory was an exceptional talent and an even more exceptional person. He was a true joy to work with and we will all miss him tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones."

The 31-year-old's death is not being treated as suspicious by authorities. Any notion of "foul play" has been discounted after police reviewed the hotel's CCTV footage. It appears the actor returned to his room alone.

Many celebrities have commented on the actor's death via Twitter. Understandably, many of his co-stars from Glee have refrained from commenting on their co-star's death on social media. Harry Shum Jr. who plays Mike Chang hoped fans would "send nothing but love and light". He went on to say, via Twitter, that the "tragic news" didn't seem real".

Representatives of Monteith's girlfriend, Lea Michelle, have asked "that everyone kindly respect Lea's privacy during this devastating time". The actress was Monteith's girlfriend on and off screen.

Adam Skankman, one of Glee's directors, tweeted a number of times regarding Monteith's death. He described the actor as his "amazing and beautiful friend". He went on to post a picture of himself with Monteith and Michelle, adding "I will always cherish you in my heart. Thank you for so many wonderful days. I love you CM".

Many actors, musicians and celebrities offered their condolences and expressed their sorrow at the news. These included musicians Rhianna; Ingrid Michaelson, LeAnn Rimes, Harry Styles and Neill Horan of One Direction and Nick Jonas.

Those commenting from the acting community were Modern Family's Sarah Hyland; How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris; Being Human's Russell Tovey and Freeloader's Olivia Munn.

Actress Andie MacDowell was in Vancouver when Monteith was discovered. She tweeted "yesterday I heard sirens I think they were for Cory I am right next to that hotel, so incredibly sad and strange RIP Cory Monteith".

Richard Branson tweeted twice about Moneith's untimely passing. His first comment read "a lovely human being who moved mountains to make the world a better place". An hour later he further commented with "he was a beautiful soul, committed to ending youth homelessness".

A number of fan administered Twitter accounts have been created in memory of the late actor.

Contactmusic sends their condolences to Cory Monteith's family, friends and colleagues.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Fell In Love On Set of "Northern Lights," But At 40, What's Happened To His Career? 3744324 News

When LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian fell in love on the set of Northern Lights, things were already looking a little bleak for the American actor. Here was a guy with the looks of a genuine Hollywood leading star - a guy who had served his time on U.S. television (Sunset Beach), like many A-listers before him, George Clooney, Kevin Bacon, etc. So why has Cibrian - who turned 40 last week - lost his way in the tangled world of Hollywood?

Eddie Cibrian LeAnn RimesEddie Cibrian [L] and LeAnn Rimes [R] At The ACM Music Awards

In 2006, Cibrian joined the cast of Fox show Vanished midway through the series. The show focused on the disappearance of the wife of a Georgia senator, which is revealed as being part of a wider conspiracy. The family of the missing woman, a pair of FBI agents and a journalist are drawn into the ever-evolving mystery - sounds alright doesn't it? Well, it wasn't. And it was cancelled after nine of the thirteen episodes. Yep, that means Fox deemed it wasn't even worth revealing where the wife of the Georgian senator ended up.

Next for Cibrian came a rather uninspiring casting as Jason Austin in the ABC remake of ITV's British drama Footballers Wives. Called Football Wives, the show actually boasted a pretty decent cast including Gabrielle Union, Lucy Lawless, Ving Rhames and James Van Der Beek, though, surprise surprise, the network chose not to pick up the show.

Following the Football Wives disappointment, married man Cibrian had a much-publicized affair with LeAnn Rimes, the popular American country star. The couple went public with their romance in August of that year, with Cibrian filing for divorce from his wife Brandi Glanville. "I can't change the past and I'm truly sorry that people got hurt along the way but not everything reported in the media is reality and continuing to rehash things publicly only makes it more difficult for everyone to heal," the actor said in a statement to E! Online.

Guest spots on Samantha Who? Dirty Sexy Money and Ugly Betty followed for Cibrian and he later joined the cast of CSI: Miami as an officer from the Hollywood division. It's probably exactly the sort of thing that he needed to be doing, though Cibrian's contract was not picked up for the 2010-2011 season.

That year, the actor guest starred as a bounty hunter on multiple episodes of NBC's drama series Chase though a huge opportunity came in March 2011,when Cibrian was cast as the lead in the NBC pilot for The Playboy Club, a big-bidget TV series focusing on the first Playboy Club in Chicago in 1962 and starring Hollywood actress Amber Heard.

Out of nowhere, the show became the first cancellation of 2011-12 television season, though it appeared to be no fault of Cibrian, with critics tearing the writing apart. Despite his website dubbing the show one of the most anticipated of the year, Tim Goodman of the Hollywood Reporter said of The Playboy Club, "It was [a] bad show, period. The writing was weak, the acting spotty and the sexism too ridiculous and obvious to comment on more than once."

LeAnn Rimes has sold over 37 million records worldwide and retains a large following across the world. She has won several awards, including two Grammys, three ACMs, a CMA, 12 Billboard Music Awards and one American Music award, however, the majority of press attention in recent years has focused on her very public spats with Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville and her weight loss.

Cibrian is clearly a talented actor, who may yet find an interesting role on television despite the fickle nature of the American small-screen business. He needs network backing, good scripts and decent co-stars: not too much to ask for is it?

Until that role comes calling, he'll star in Tyler Perry's Single Moms Club set for release in 2014. After that, it's The Best Man Holiday - a comedy with Terrence Howard. Sigh.

Baby Talk With LeAnn Rimes - She's Ready To Have One Of Her Own 3697210 News

LeAnn Rimes has had a rough patch over the past couple of years, but with the drama behind her, she’s looking forward to the release of her brand new album – and just maybe, the pitter-patter of little feet around the house. Amid numerous interviews talking about the revival of her career, the country singer has let slip that she wouldn’t exactly mind having a baby sometime in the near future.

The singer, who is married to actor Eddie Cibrian, told Us Weekly, "We talk about having kids all the time and I would love to, but it's gonna be a second. I'm still young and fertile -- it's all good!"

But of course, deciding to have a baby isn’t the same as having one and Rimes is realistic about her chances. In another interview, she told People, "It took my mom 12 years to have me. I hope I don't have that [issue] but if I do, then a surrogate is something I've thought about. Eddie and I have also talked about adopting. My capacity to love a child doesn't stop at my own eggs, obviously!"

Well, if they’ve gone as far as discussing adoption, things are definitely getting serious for the couple. But it’s not like Rimes doesn’t have any experience with the joys of motherhood. Despite not having any little ones of her own (yet,) the singer is stepmom to Mason, 9, and Jake, 6, Cibrian's sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville and she has said in a number of interviews that she’s very involved in the boys’ lives. So if and when the little one shows up, there will already be a big happy family waiting for it.

LeAnn Rimes To Air Comedy Show 'Based On Our Reality' With Eddie Cibrian 3695790 News

LeAnn Rimes has announced that she and husband Eddie Cibrian are airing their own TV show based on their lives at home together.

It's not a reality show, it's a 'show based on our reality' according to the singer who announced the news to People Magazine. 'We'll take things out of our lives and elaborate them and make them funny', she explains. 'People have been laughing at us - we want them to laugh with us!' There's no telling whether or not people will, indeed, laugh at this new errr. sitcom? But LeAnn certainly seems sure of it adding, 'For some reason, everyone is so interested in our lives but they don't actually know about them.'

She says she wants to 'take control' of her private life again by broadcasting even further in a scripted TV show. She also thinks it will reinvigorate her professional relationship with Eddie who she's desperate to work with again. 'That's why we explored the idea of doing the show, to be able to be together', she said, seeming to be full of reasons why doing an ill-omened comedy show is a good idea.

She has also shot down rumours that she will be making an appearance in 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alongside Eddie's ex and her arch rival Brandi Glanville. 'That would never cross my mind', she said as we breathed a sigh a relief. 'Never in a million years!'

Huh? LeAnn Rimes Was "Disgusted" At Herself Over Eddie Cibran Affair 3692069 News

LeAnn Rimes was not a fan of herself, after she was caught having an affair with Eddie Cibran back in 2009. "I was feeling all these crazy emotions and feeling terrible about myself and was disgusted by myself and thought I was pathetic," she said in a recent interview.

Evidently Rimes didn’t feel disgusted enough to end the affair, and the couple are now in fact married. But nevertheless, the time around it becoming public knowledge was pretty tumultuous for the singer. "I went in and took care of myself because I was stressed, I was depressed and anxious, and I didn't know how to process everything," she told Us Weekly of her decision to check into an in-patient facility in August 2012. She put it down to constant public scrutiny, saying that her "whole life has been out there for everyone to judge" since she was just 13 years old. "Going away was something I really needed to do."

Anyway, as tends to happen with most songwriters going through a tough time, she managed to put together a deeply personal album out of it, and new album Spitifire bears the marks of that time. "I think I opened up the can of worms for myself by writing this record," she said. "There were a lot of things I didn't even realize I was feeling...I needed to go somewhere and really process all of that stuff.” Now she says it’s all good. "I'm the strongest I've ever been," she commented. "I'm the most honest with myself that I've ever been, I'm the most secure I've ever been about myself and my family, and I'm the most confident I've been in a really long time."

LeAnn Rimes Denies Anorexia Rumors: "Now I'm Ok With My Body" 3612152 News

Country star LeAnn Rimes has never been one to shy away from admitting her problems, but she insists that an eating disorder isn’t among them. The “How Do I Live” singer has come under a lot of scrutiny lately for her thinning physique. A lot of publications have speculated that Rimes is anorexic, but she maintains that she shed the pounds naturally, because of all the stress of her recent past.

"People said I was [anorexic], but I didn't have a problem with eating, as I ate a ton all the time - I could eat my husband under the table!" she tells the Daily Mail. "But I was going through a time when I just wasn't sleeping -- my mind wouldn't shut off and my heart was breaking." Rimes is referring to a time two years ago, when she was in an affair with now-husband Eddie Cibrian. The two met on the set of Northern Lights in 2009 and, at the time, both were still married – Rimes to dancer Dean Sheremet and Cibrian to future Real Housewife Brandi Glanville.

Rimes describes the period after their affair as a "turbulent" one. "To say I've been on several roller coasters is an understatement," she admits to the Daily Mail. According to her own words, she is in a much healthier place now though. So maybe this means that we’ll see the singer put on a few pounds soon.
