Rihanna Wanted James Franco As Video Love Interest

Rihanna asked 127 Hours star James Franco to play her man in the We Found Love video.

The movie star reveals he had to turn the offer down because of a scheduling conflict.

Franco tells MTV News, "She actually asked me to be in that video, the one with the relationship that gets crazy. I couldn't do it."

But the actor insists he would have been interested in the role under different circumstances, adding, "I do like Rihanna."

The R&B star eventually asked model Dudley O'Shaughnessy to play her love interest in the promo.
