Rihanna - Rihanna To Return To The Stage At The American Music Awards

RIHANNA will make her first live solo stage performance since the CHRIS BROWN attack halted her career in February (09) at the American Music Awards on 22 November (09).

The Umbrella singer was forced to pull out of a Grammy Awards showcase in February (09) after her fight with then-boyfriend Brown - on the eve of the prizegiving - left her beaten and bruised, and she hasn't been back onstage alone since.

The AMAs performance will be Rihanna's third in a row - she sang Rehab at the 2008 ceremony and Umbrella in 2007, when she also teamed up to duet with Ne-Yo.

Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas are also set to perform at the 2009 American Music Awards.
