Rihanna has taken an interesting career turn by signing on to be an executive producer on a UK fashion show which is set to debut on the Sky Living channel in Britain. Last year, the American pop star has been courting more controversy than praise for her career, being seen in sex shops, getting tattoos and going topless in fields. However this seems to be a decision a little more on the straight and narrow.
RiRi released a statement to Sky Living saying "I've always had a great love of fashion. It's a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I've grown into the person and artist I am today," continuing "I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage. I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show."
The show has no name yet and is in the early stages of planning, but the news that she's chosen to put her name to a Uk-based fashion program comes as little surprise; last Autumn she seemed to be having a ball in Europe, including a brief tryst with a Northern Irish dancer named Dudley.
