Rihanna Sneaks Out Of 'Marijuana' Coffee Shop
Now The UK's Sun newspaper reports the 'We Found Love' singer was seen emerging from the Bulldog coffee shop in Amsterdam trying to look decidedly low key in a furry hat pulled down low and sporting shades. The photograph is causing quite a stir since the store is known as a hotspot for the sale of marijuana which, though certainly not as big of a deal in the Netherlands as it is in the UK or Us - is still illegal to sell in public. The action could be viewed as a rebellion against the opinion that she's is seen as a role model to her fans; something Rihanna certainly disputes, telling the UK edition of Vogue "See, people - especially white people - they want me to be a role model just because of the life I lead. The things I say in my songs, they expect it of me and being a role model became more of my job than I wanted it to be. But no, I just want to make music. That's it."
The infamous Bulldog cafe, which opened in 1975, is one of Holland's most notorious 'coffee shops', claiming to be the first cafe licensed to sell drugs.
