Rihanna Slips From Number One Perch
The Barbadian singer's Umbrella was the first hit to spend ten weeks at number one since Wet Wet Wet's Love Is All Around 13 years ago, but finally toppled from its perch today thanks to Timbaland's collaboration with Keri Hilson.
Umbrella slipped to number three, falling below Kate Nash's Foundations which stayed at two.
Numbers four and five were also unchanged, with Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry and Enrique Iglesias' Do You Know (The Ping Pong Song) both clinging on.
The Manic Street Preachers' latest single, Autumnsong, entered at number ten.
In the album chart it was a second week at number one for Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts. The operatic former mobile phone salesman continues to impress the public and sales of One Chance remained strong in their second week.
Timbaland's Shock Value climbed three places to number two while Mika's Life In Cartoon Motion rose another place to number three.
The highest new entry was from Garbage, whose Absolute came in at number 11.
