Rihanna's '777 Tour' documentary is set to air on US network Fox on May 6, giving viewers an inside look at behind the scenes footage of the ambitious trip.
Rihanna's '777 Tour' documentary is set to air in May.
The Bajan singer performed seven whirlwind shows in seven different countries last November to promote her seventh album 'Unapologetic', and invited 150 journalists and fans along for the ride on a private Boeing 777 jet.
Nearly six months on, US network Fox will show a behind-the-scenes TV film to reveal the backstage antics and drama during the busy week, which saw her visit New York, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin and London.
Rihanna, 25, came under fire after the ambitious excursion for not spending enough time with her fellow passengers on board the aircraft and racking up a total of £200,000 in fines due to her lateness along the way.
One Australian reporter streaked through the plane in protest of her lack of appearance, after which she took the time apologise.
She said: ''Guess what, we made it! This has been an experience that I will never ever forget. I barely slept. My sleeping was all done on this plane, I want to thank everyone for making this trip the s**t. I want to see the naked Australian!
''I was glad I did this, absolutely. Tonight is the night everything we did this week goes off. I know you guys got barely any dirt. But I had to be good. I still sound like s**t.
''It's impossible to spend time with everybody, and I'm sorry I didn't. But this was excellent and I would definitely do it again.''
'Rihanna 777' will be broadcast on May 6.
