Rihanna Lashes Out At Piers Morgan Jibe On Twitter

At the same time that Rihanna was cavorting about on stage with Brit rockers COLDPLAYM during their mammoth Paralympic Closing Ceremony set last night, talk show host, journalist and general Twitter irritant Piers Morgan was chipping in with his two-pence worth about the state of the star’s new short-crop hairstyle – and unsurprisingly his comments caused some controversy.

A man who recently claimed last month that he’d throw himself off a pier if then-Arsenal football player Robin Van Persie joined rivals Manchester United – there’s been no development on that since Van Persie did indeed sign for United – Morgan isn’t shy when it comes to making over the top claims on Twitter. Unfortunately for him, his comment “ps I think @Rihanna needs to grow her hair back. Fast” attracted the attention of the singer and she replied after performing at the Olympic Stadium with a comment of her own: “grow a d**k..... FAST!!!!” Sick burn.

It appears that Rihanna will have a chance to exact further verbal bombs on Morgan too, with a Tweet from the Briton suggesting that she was going to be on his CNN chat show soon. Going to be one hell of an interview now @rihanna - bring your A-game, lady. #Cnn” Morgan wrote. The 23 year-old had been helping Coldplay bring to a close the two-week long Paralympic Games which completed nearly two months’ worth of sporting attention on the UK capital following the Olympic Games.
