Rihanna - Rihanna Joins Kanye And Jay-z On Stage In London After Missing Flight

The Umbrella singer failed to make it to Heathrow Airport on time to catch her flight out of London on Sunday morning and blamed the slip-up on a late-night party Jay Z threw on Saturday.

Label boss Jay Z gave the wild child a day off to recover after Rihanna took to Twitter.com to explain her tardiness, writing, "U know life is great when u wake up at 9 am Drunk!!!!!"

She added, "You know it was a good night when u wake up n run to your Bff's (best friend forever) room like... 'How did I get in my bed? Did I walk? Stumble? Get carried?'"

She was back on top form hours later when she made a surprise appearance at West and Jay Z's Watch The Throne gig and joined the rappers for a performance of All Of The Lights.

Tweeting after the show, Rihanna wrote, "Made historih (sic) tonight as the first person to Watch The Throne And join it!!! No one is allowed on that stage! Thank u guys."
