Rihanna Defends Speedy Third Album
The Unfaithful singer insists record label bosses at Def Jam are so sure of her talent, they will continue to bombard the charts with her singles and albums.
She says, "It's a nonstop pace, very speedily, and Def Jam does not play, that's all I can tell you.
"We just keep going and going - it's fun, we make sure that we have fun while we do it.
"My sound has changed. It's a lot edgier than the rest of the stuff that anyone has heard from me before. I'm singing about different things, it's a lot sexier."
Her third untitled album comes out in June (07), following the success of 2005's MUSIC OF THE SUN and 2006's A GIRL LIKE ME.
Def Jam President SHAWN 'JAY-Z' CARTER says, "It shows such growth for her as an artist. If you listen to the lyrics to that song, you know the depth and how far she's come."
