Rihanna: Brits have best style

Rihanna thinks British people are the most stylish in the world.

The 'Stay' singer - who unveiled her first fashion line for British high street chain River Island at London Fashion Week on Saturday (16.02.13) - has revealed she wanted to launch her collection in the UK because she thinks Brits have the most fashion sense.

She told Grazia magazine: ''Britain has the most fashionable kids in the world. These kids inspired the high-end designers - they say what's cool. So why not to go to the source when you want to be ahead of the trend and create something inspirational and fresh? That's why I wanted to work with River Island.''

The 24-year-old Bajan singer's daring collection features neon coloured separates, saucy thigh-high splits and crop tops and Rihanna commented that she's wanted to launch her own line for quite some time.

She added: ''I've wanted to design my own fashion line for a very long time now. It's been something I've thought about since I started loving fashion. Every time I saw a garment on the rack there was something I wanted to change, so I felt like the only way I could do that was by designing the perfect thing for me.''

Rihanna for River Island is in stores nationwide from March 5.
