Rihanna Asks Cops To Return Lost Gems
Pop superstar RIHANNA has asked Los Angeles police to hand back jewellery worth more than $1 million that was seized the night of her fight with ex-boyfriend CHRIS BROWN.
A pair of earrings and three rings - worth an estimated $1.4 million (GBP965,000) - were taken by cops and logged as evidence after the famous bust-up, which left Rihanna with a bruised face and Brown facing assault charges.
The singer is desperate to get the gems back, because they had been loaned to her to wear at a pre-Grammy party, reports TMZ.com.
Brown is currently awaiting trial on charges of felony assault and making criminal threats.
