Richards Still Struggling With Baby Son Tragedy
Keith Richards is still struggling with the 1976 death of his infant son, TARA, confessing to biographer James Fox that a week doesn't go by without him recalling the tragedy.
Introducing an excerpt from his upcoming memoirs, Life, in Rolling Stone magazine, the rocker admits he still can't forgive himself for being on tour with the Rolling Stones when the baby died.
Richards says, "Leaving a newborn is something I can't forgive myself for."
And Fox reveals, "The first time we talked about that, Keith couldn't get out more than five words. Then we realised we had to go back to it. He told me that he thought about it every week."
