Rapper Rich Homie Quan has distanced himself from a fatal shooting which claimed the life of a fan during his concert in Ohio last weekend (21-22Dec13).
The hip-hop star was performing onstage at the Red Zone bar in Columbus in the early hours of Sunday (22Dec13), when gunshots rang out inside the venue, causing fans to rush towards the exit.
A 24-year-old male was shot and killed during the incident and Rich Homie Quan has since expressed his condolences over the gunfire - the second such incident to occur during one of his gigs at Red Zone.
However, the Type of Way rapper insists he and his entourage had nothing to do with the tragedy.
He tells Tmz.com, "It's sad to hear that someone died especially during the holiday season. I just want everybody to know me nor anybody in my crew or affiliation had anything to do with the shooting in Ohio.
"We will be reaching out to the family of the deceased."
Another man was killed in a separate shooting which took place at Red Zone following a concert Rich Homie Quan staged on 9 November (13).
