Reznor Blasts Cornell Record Via Twitter

Nine Inch Nails rocker Trent Reznor has handed Chris Cornell a savage review of his new album via his Twitter.com account.

Reznor calls the former Audioslave and Soundgarden frontman's collaboration with superproducer Timbaland "embarrassing".

In a brief posting to his 50,000 Twitter pals, Reznor posts, "You know that feeling you get when somebody embarrasses themselves so badly YOU feel uncomfortable? Heard Chris Cornells record? Jesus."

But don't listen to me (or Trent Reznor!) . . . go listen to the album for yourself!

I still can't believe that Trent Reznor said this.It is simply crazy . . . if only for the simple fact that the way he describes Cornell's music is the way that I feel when I listen to NIN. But I'm NOT saying that's necessarily a bad thing. I still like some NIN songs . . . and the album "Pretty Hate Machine," but that album is pretty damn embarrassing! Damn!Cornell is a musical genius and is crossing musical "boundaries" (if that's what you like to call it). What he is doing is deep, experimental, and intellectually/spiritually challenging and stimulating.I'm sorry if you miss it because your mind isn't open wide enough.Sincerely,"E-Dogg"myspace.com/upontheshelf

Hey what's the big idea Trent Reznor! Who the hell do you think you are?! Don't be talking trash about Chris Cornell. He's better than you. Who in the right mind would listen to your crappy music? Chris Cornell is not a sellout!
