The Rascals - Reunited The Rascals Are Broadway Bound
Reunited 1960s pop act The Rascals are set to take their comeback to Broadway with a run of shows that combine live music and film.
The Good Lovin' hitmakers reformed after a 40-year break for a series of shows in December (12), which were organised by number one fan, rocker Steven Van Zandt - and now the original bandmates are staging their The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream show in New York's theatre mecca for 15 performances in April and May (13).
Singer Eddie Brigati, keyboard player Felix Cavaliere, guitarist Gene Cornish and drummer Dino Danelli will hit the stage at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on 15 April (13).
The production will chronicle the cult band's history and feature archival footage and dramatic film segments.
Van Zandt, who inducted the band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, is producing the show.
