Black Sabbath - Reunited Black Sabbath Close Download Festival

Black Sabbath closed Download 2012 last night (10.06.12) by wowing fans with a greatest hits set.

The rock outfit performed with three of their four original members, singer Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler at Donington Park, East Midlands, while drummer Bill Ward was replaced by Tommy Clufetos.

Black Sabbath took to the stage to play classic songs including 'War Pigs', 'Paranoid' and 'Sweet Leaf', one month after they played their first show since reforming in Birmingham.

The group were forced to cancel a number of tour dates this summer as Tony is currently battling cancer, but they are set to play Lollapalooza festival in the US, which takes place between August 3 and 5.

Sabbath took to the stage at Download after grunge rockers Soundgarden, who performed hits such as 'Black Hole Sun' in their first UK gig for 15 years.

Megadeth, Lamb of God and Anthrax stunned fans at the festival - which was attended by 100,000 revellers - with energetic sets earlier in the day.

Metallica closed the second day of the festival on Saturday (09.06.12) after The Prodigy headlined the main stage on Friday night (08.06.12).
