Reports A Replacement For Regis Has Been Found
After nearly a year-long search following the departure of Regis Philbin, ABC has found a permanent co-host for Kelly Ripa on its morning Live! talk show. He's former football star Michael Strahan, who currently appears on Fox NFL Sunday and is expected to remain on that show, according to the Los Angeles Times . Broadcasting & Cable confirmed the report with multiple sources and said that ABC is expected to announce Strahan's new role in September. The network declined to comment on the published reports.
