Reese Witherspoon - Reese Witherspoon Takes Aim At Blake Lively?
Reese Witherspoon, the American actress and star of 'Water for Elephants', appeared to use her acceptance speech at Sunday's Mtv Movie Awards to deliver a thinly-veiled jibe at actresses like Blake Lively, who was recently accused of featuring in explicit photos, reports the UK's Metro newspaper.
'Gossip Girl' star Lively hit the headlines last week after she was alleged to feature in a series of naked pictures circulating the web. After denying the images were of her, a 'hacker' then released more pictures again purporting to be Lively. While accepting her lifetime achievement honour, Witherspoon took it upon herself to give a little advice to the younger generation of Hollywood starlets, saying, "If you take naked pictures of yourself with your cell phone, you hide your face", adding, "It's possible to be a good girl. I'm going to make it cool". Earlier in the show, Witherspoon was given glowing tributes by the likes of Patrick Dempsey and Robert Pattinson. The latter made reference to his role as the actress's son in the 2004 movie 'Vanity Fair', joking that it was Reese's decision to cut him from the final movie. He then referenced the pair's role in 'Water For Elephants', saying, "I didn't cut you out, but I did f**k you", adding, "It's not always a bad thing to have sexual chemistry with your mother".
Reese Witherspoon follows in the footsteps of Ben Stiller and Sandra Bullock, who have been previous recipients of Mtv's Generation Award in recent years.
