Reese Witherspoon Shops For Maternity Clothes

Reese Witherspoon spent almost $600 on maternity clothes during a shopping trip at the weekend.

The 'This Means War' star is expecting her first baby with second husband Jim Toth and she made a visit to the Paige Denim store, which is located near her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, on Saturday (31.03.12) with her daughter Ava, 12, to buy some better fitting clothes for her expanding bump.

The 36-year-old actress left with three pairs of maternity jeans, the Union Ultra Skinny in Caress, which cost $199, the Union Skyline Skinny denim trousers, which were also priced at $199, and a$189 pair of Union Skyline Ankle Peg jeans in Optic White.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: ''They were both really sweet and polite.''

Reese - who as well as Ava also has an eight-year-old son Deacon with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe - and Hollywood agent Jim, 41, are yet to officially announce their happy news.

The Oscar winner spoke about her desire to have a baby with her two children so they felt part of the decision making process.

A source close to Reese - who married Jim last year - recently said: ''Right after the wedding, Reese expressed a desire to have a baby with Jim. All along, Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family. Especially [because] Ava is at a sensitive age, Reese always makes sure to consult with her. She is very respectful of Ava's feelings.''
