Recovering Cuomo To Headline Bonnaroo With Weezer

RIVERS CUOMO will seal his comeback after a freak car accident as WEEZER lead the line-up of the 2010 Bonnaroo Music Festival, joining fellow headliners KINGS OF LEON and JAY-Z.

Weezer was forced to cancel its North American tour when Cuomo was admitted to hospital with a punctured lung and five broken ribs after his tourbus swerved into a ditch in December (09).

The Buddy Holly hitmakers performed at Florida State University last month (Jan10), but Cuomo later revealed he had signed up to a 45-day meditation retreat to further his recovery.

Now the rocker is preparing to make a triumphant return to rock at the four-day event in Manchester, Tennessee, which will feature 125 acts on 13 stages.

Also included in the line-up are Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews Band, Flaming Lips, Jimmy Cliff, the Dead Weather, Nas and Kid Cudi.

The festival will be held from 10-13 June (10) on a 700-acre farm.
