Reba Mcentire 'Alive And Kicking' After Death Hoax
Country music superstar Reba McEntire has silenced rumours alleging she fell to her death while on a mountain film shoot on Monday (30Jan12), insisting she's "alive and kicking".
Reports suggested the singer was on set in Austria when she met an untimely demise, but MCEntire has moved swiftly to dismiss the false claims.
Taking to Twitter.com on Tuesday (31Jan12), she writes, "There is a rumor going around that I died after falling off a mountain in Austria yesterday while shooting a movie. While I would love to be shooting a movie in Austria, I definitely did not fall off a mountain! Nor am I dead! I am alive and kicking!!!... Have a great day."
MCEntire is the latest celebrity to be 'killed off' in an online death hoax - Cher and Jon Bon Jovi have also recently been targetted by pranksters.
