Nicki Minaj is set to star in her own reality TV show. Not content with her pop career, launching her own perfume and her stint as a judge on American Idol, Nicki will star in three network specials for E! Online, they have revealed today. The Starships singer had hinted that there may be some kind of reality TV action afoot for her and now, the news has been confirmed, with the first of the shows being aired on the E channel at the start of November.

According to today’s report, Nicki will “offer viewers exclusive intimate access to her personal and professional life...including never-before-seen footage.” The rest of the details are being kept under wraps right now but this is great news for fans of the enigmatic singer, whose known for her outspoken behavior and recently caused a stir with a YouTube video in which she railed against being called a b*tch simply for being forthright. Minaj is already making waves with her American Idol gig; it has been reported that her co-judge Mariah Carey was unhappy about Nicki’s addition to the show as she’d been led to believe that she would be the only female on the show.
