Hit U.s. Reality Show 19 Kids & Counting Has Been Cancelled In The Wake Of Star Josh Duggar's Molestation Scandal.
Bosses at cable network TLC, who have aired the popular series for nine seasons, have announced there will be no more episodes.
They scrapped the show in light of the public pressure following the leak of a 2006 police report which revealed Duggar, one of the 19 kids of the programme, had been investigated for child molestation when he was a teen.
His sisters Jill and Jessa, who are now in their 20s, came forward as two of the six victims.
Responding to the news of the cancellation in a statement released early on Thursday (16Jul15), the Duggar family said, "With God's grace and help, Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become.
"It is our prayer that the painful situation our family went through many years ago can point people toward faith in God and help others who also have lived through similar dark situations to find help, hope and healing, as well."
Reports suggest the controversy will be covered in an upcoming documentary on TLC.
