Real World Star Arrested Over Car Crash

U.S. reality TV show star DAVID RAINEY has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a near-fatal car accident in California.

The Real World: San Francisco star, known as Puck, and his eight-year-old son, Bogart, were both seriously injured when his vehicle swerved off a road and slammed into an embankment last Friday (19Mar10).

They were airlifted to hospital in San Diego, and Rainey was reportedly treated for broken bones in his feet, hands and neck, as well as a fractured sternum and clavicle. Bogart was left with bruised internal organs and damage to his liver, but was discharged on Wednesday (24Mar10), while his father remained in the hospital facing several operations.

And now cops have visited Rainey and arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) at the time of the crash, according to the Associated Press. The agency reports he is facing charges of DUI, child endangerment and driving without a license.
