Ray Liotta - Ray Liotta Visits Churches To Research First Preacher Role

The lapsed Catholic admits he enjoyed picking up The Bible and chatting to men of the cloth as he researched his role - Liotta's first as a clergyman.

The Goodfellas star says, "I was brought up Catholic so I went to church but I never played a preacher before. I read The Bible a lot and I haven't done that in a while, so that was interesting.

"I would go to a Baptist church or a Catholic or a Methodist (church) and watch sermons and talk to preachers after they were done. It was really interesting. They each have a different vibe to them."
