Animated rodent movie RATATOUILLE continues to draw a crowd at the top of the international box-office, where it remains the world's number one film for a fifth successive week. Ratatouille, which is released on DVD in America on Tuesday (06Nov07), made a further $14.5 million (GBP7.2 million) in cinemas outside the U.S. over the weekend (02-04Nov07), taking its total global haul to $371.8 million (GBP185.9 million). Zombie thriller Resident Evil: Extinction came in second with a $10.7 million (GBP5.3 million) haul, while horror sequel Saw IV drops a place to three with $8.2 million (GBP4.1 million).
A sleekly made thriller with a sparky sense of humour, this is also a rare action movie that has something important to say.
