Rare The Beatles First U.s. Album Sells For $15,000
Introducing... The Beatles hit shelves in America in early 1964, but due to a late release stemming from legal wranglings, it came out just 10 days before their second album Meet The Beatles!, which went on to become a bigger hit.
A rare edition was put up for sale on online auctioning site eBay.com, and a private collector paid big for the rare record, with a winning final bid of almost $14,999 last week (12Jul12).
The album featured classic Beatles tracks such as Twist and Shout and and their debut single Love Me Do.
